Resumen del Libro:
Retrospective dedicated to the art production created by Washington Barcala (b. Uruguay 1920-1993) the last 3 decades. This is a collection of collages and decollages defined as organic constructivism , a series of boxes with pieces of discarded material, recovered to create his archaeology of the memory . Although his passage through masters Torres Garcia studio was brief and circumstantial and ended after the second session, the masters strong influence is still present in his creations.
