Compilation of the papers presented at the symposium organized by CURARE as part of Revisiones de la Historia del Arte en México, held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of David Alfaro Siqueiros. Each of the 18 invited scholars (including Shifra M. Goldman, Joan Handwerg, Philip Stein, Stanley Faulkner, and Marcelo Pacheco) renders an analysis of a particular aspect of Siqueiros work and personality – from the political to the technical – and explains how to interpret the works in context.
