This work examines the relationships between the Universitys significance and objectives and the formal aspects of its architectural components, the stylistic sources that have nourished them, the academic programs that have helped to enhance them, the historical context in which the works were created, and the architects who have brought all of this to life with designs that are both functional and symbolic.
