La Joya De Mi Deseo

Set in Madrid 1618, beautiful young widow Luisa Estrada takes over the family jewelry business after her husbands death. The jewelry guild refuses to sell her gems because she is a woman. Her situation becomes quite dire and her friend and client Catalina de Velasco suggests a marriage of convenience with a scoundrel named Alvaro. He needs money to start his own theater company so he races over to meet her. Luisa is not keen on the idea. Will he find a way to bend her will?
